YOUTH! Group meets on the 1st & 3rd Wednesday every month, as well as hosting one social event monthly.

Our YOUTH! program focuses on providing a safe and welcoming environment for ages 12-18 2SLGBTQIA+, GNC, and allied youth. We facilitate two YOUTH! Peer Support Socials monthly, where members are invited to both share issues and concerns as well as celebrate good news and achievements with accepting peer groups.

On the first monthly meeting, we conclude with a Planning Session, giving members an opportunity to develop Self Esteem, Leadership , and Life Skills by planning and organizing the monthly event of their choosing for all YOUTH! members to participate and engage.

On the second meeting of the month, YOUTH! members explore and discuss topics relevant to both teens and our 2SLGBTQIA+ / GNC culture in an age-appropriate manner. Some focus topics have included resiliency, self esteem, self-advocacy, communication, mental health, pronouns, gender, healthy relationships, internet safety, coming out, 2SLGBTQIA+ Role Models, Culture, History, Observances, and more!

Every month, YOUTH! hosts a fun social event or activity to invite members to explore new interests, and welcoming venues in our community. Some events held in the past include Movie Nights, Bowling, Arts & Crafts, Picnics & Water Balloon Fights, PRIDE Field Trips, Holiday Parties, Cooking Classes and More!

Tri-County Diversity supports youth engagement in their schools and community. YOUTH! Facilitators are available to offer advisement and support to local school GSA or other LGBTQ+ focused groups / clubs. We encourage local School LGBTQ+ Clubs to register with TCD every year.

Tri-County Diversity provides the opportunity for GSA's and other 2SLGBTQIA+ focused clubs in schools located in Yuba, Sutter, or Colusa county to plan, organize, and carry out a successful fundraising project with our GSA Fundraising Grant.
